Maryam Zuhuri’s film sensitively captures the experience of leaving one’s homeland and starting anew far from family. Through gentle and quiet black-and-white imagery, the documentary weaves personal footage with everyday scenes of Viennese market traders into a deeply intimate portrait of inner conflict, longing and belonging.
