Shadab Shayegan was born in Tehran, Iran. At the age of 18, she moved to Vienna to study music composition at the University of Music and Performing Arts. While experimenting with sound composition, she discovered her interest in combining images with sounds, which led her to study animation. This passion inspired her to join the Animation and Painting class at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. Between 2021 and 2024, she studied animation directing at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in Germany, where she completed her diploma film, Pear Garden.
