About the Film
Marcos and Ahmed are sent to the principal’s office after an argument. Ahmed has been bullying Marcos, who is bound to a wheelchair, for a while now. As they settle their dispute, they realize that both of them have to deal with stereotypes and discrimination in their daily lives. The Wheelchair tells a heartfelt story about showing empathy, while keeping a sense of humor.

About the Filmmaker
Clara García Gil (*2009) and Mariano Reinaldos López (*2009) are students at IES Ramón Arcas Meca. Together they directed their first short film The Wheelchair within a cinema workshop at their school.
