How can images and text enter into dialogue? How can words get to the bottom of how images and sound work? At the workshop with Jugend ohne Film, interested people of all ages and experience levels will explore writing about films. After visiting a film program together, aspects of working between words and images will be discussed with Patrick Holzapfel and Bianca Jasmina Rauch from the editorial team of Jugend ohne Film – resulting in written texts of the workshop participants. 
After watching the competition program 10 together, the writing workshop begins, referring to the films of the competition program.

Starting from cinema Jugend ohne Film deals with the world.  For many years we have been writing texts that contradict the conventional forms of film criticism, publishing online, and by now in the second print edition. Literary texts, notes, personal essays, conversations, poetry, and letters combined, reflect on cinema and beyond.
